After the snow its business as normal this week for the Lupin gardening team

This week has seen a full return to garden maintenance work for the Lupin lady gardeners.

The Lupin Team

Here is a diary of their week maintaining gardens;

Monday

Today we are in Henley-in-Arden, in a garden we have been developing for several years (see photos). It was redesigned and implemented by the usual team - Mel at Gardenplan, Mick at Avalon Landscapes and planted by Lupin. We maintain this garden on a quarterly basis and it seems to have come through the winter. Nice to see the end of the snow, though rain apparently on the way...

Henley-In-Arden Garden in Summer

Tuesday

Malin and Anka are in Edgbaston today, maintaining the garden of a lovely Australian woman - it's the only place we go where we are offered vegemite toast and tea at break time...

The Lovely Border

Wednesday

Anka and Natalie are in one of our favourite gardens in Moseley. We have maintained this garden for ten years, and it always has great structure and interest across the seasons - even in the coldest months. This winter flowering clematis looks beautiful on a cold, clear day...

Winter Clematis flowering

Thursday

Three gardens today - two in Moseley and one in Bearwood. Natalie is at Clarence Rd, Moseley in a garden we have been maintaining for about five years. The shady front garden had a makeover last year, with the stipulation from the owners that it had a 'japanese-y, zen' feel...
